WHATEVEr happened to S.P.R?
Don’t worry- we’re still here, just with a new
look, new goals, and a new vision.
While we’re honored to still act as ambassadors
for our school, we’ve been moving and growing this past year to
a role more than shaking hands and touring delegates. Our new
name, we believe, says it all- Leadership in Volunteer
Experiences.
Leadership- acting as positive role models
throughout our school environment, community, and world, with
integrity and respect for all. Leadership isn’t just calling the
shots- it’s a way of life, a way of being, of striving to be the
best one can be. It’s taking responsibility for oneself, and for
others, all while being agents of positive change.
Volunteer- Offering our time, talents,
and lives, to whatever the task may be.
From showing new students or international delegates
around the school, to serving in soup kitchens, to helping
fellow immigrants adjust to their new surroundings- we strive to
go above and beyond the low expectations for a teenager’s life,
and make a difference in the world.
Experiences- Big and Small. Newsworthy or
Unnoticed. Experience is what drives everyone. We strive to make
change through any experience in our lives- whether through
dialogue with a neighbor, riding on public transit, or any other
detail of one’s everyday life. We hope, by living as positive
role models for change in
every
aspect of our lives, we will
truly be able to impact the world around us.
So that’s us!- a new name, a new vision, but
still ready to serve the school in whatever capacity that might
be. Contact us if you’re interested- if you have an event in
mind for us to assist with, or think you might know the perfect
addition to our team!

The L.I.V.E. Team.
